During November and December extraordinary sports are on the agenda. The first and second grade students do rock-climbing, the third, fourth and fifth grade students practice fencing, while the preschool students have fun with obstacle courses.
The first and second grade children walk down to the local gymnasium where an instructor teaches the children how to safely ascend and descend the rock-climbing wall.
The third, fourth and fifth grade children are greeted by a fencing teacher who instructs the children in the art of fencing in the school’s multi-purpose room.
The preschool children enjoy having their teacher and teacher aide set up different obstacle courses each week in the multi-purpose room.
